Q2 2024 Android Performance: Top 5 Food Delivery Services in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the food delivery service applications have continued to serve a significant number of customers on the Android platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's a snapshot of the performance of the top five food delivery services in the United States.

Picnic Online Supermarket showed a fluctuating trend in downloads, with a noticeable peak of 5.1M in mid-April, and a concluding uptick to 4.6M downloads by the end of June. Weekly active users (WAUs) demonstrated an overall increasing trend, growing from 83.7K to 93.4K over the quarter.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced an initial rise in downloads to 5.3M in early April, but then saw a gradual decline, finishing the quarter at 3.4M. The WAUs showed a decline from 235.4K in the first week of April, dipping to 191.4K in early May, before rebounding to 222.2K in early June, and finally dropping to 194.5K.

Thuisbezorgd.nl had a relatively steady number of downloads throughout the quarter, with a slight rise from 2.9M to 3.5M. The WAUs for the app showed more variability, with a peak at 137.5K in late April, followed by a dip and subsequent recovery to 132.7K by the end of June.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery saw its download numbers grow from 1.6M to 2.7M towards the end of April, followed by fluctuations and a closing at 2.1M downloads. The trend in WAUs was somewhat stable, starting at 74.5K, peaking at 79.9K, and closing the quarter at 75.9K.

Lastly, Flink: Groceries in minutes demonstrated a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 1.1M and ending the quarter with 1.3M. The WAUs showed an initial increase from 32.6K to 34.1K in late April, followed by a decrease, ending at 30K.
